ENGLAND TRIUMPH-ANT AT THE WORLD CUP!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
This summer one thing is for certain: No matter how England perform in the World Cup, at least one lucky England fan will be smiling long after they've left the terraces. Because that fan will be the owner of an exclusive, brand new Triumph Bonneville motorbike, signed by the entire World Cup England squad!
One of two Bonnevilles customised by Umbro and the FA and signed by the England squad, this unique bike will be on display during Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges.
Between the ninth of June and the ninth of July 2006, Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges will take place in the Ultralounge at Selfridges on Oxford Street in London and everyone will be invited to join in the celebration of World football. As a highlight, everyone who goes to the Lounge will have a chance to win this very special motorbike! To enter, simply visit Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges, fill out a form between the above dates and hand in to one of the hostesses - the draw will be made at random on the day of the World Cup Final.
The Triumph Bonneville first took to the roads in 1959, but really came into its own in the mid-60s. Ridden by Hollywood royalty, including Steve McQueen, James Dean and Bob Dylan, the Bonneville was the coolest bike to be seen on.
Taking design cues from the original bike of the 60s, the modern Bonneville uses 21st century technology and materials to deliver truly contemporary performance in unquestionably authentic style.
During the four weeks of the World Cup, as well as screening the World Cup games on over 20 specially installed Sky HD feeds and Sony BRAVIA LCD high definition screens Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges will feature a wide range of exciting football inspired activities taking place.
The signed Triumph Bonneville will be on display at Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges, in the Ultralounge, Ground Floor, Selfridges, Oxford Street, London, open daily from 12pm to 11pm (except when there are no evening matches) and Sundays, 12pm to 6pm.
