Honda Concept Motorcycles for the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show

Honda Motor Company, Ltd, has unveiled two of the concept bikes it will display at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show, which opens on October 22 and runs through November 6, 2005, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The theme of the 39th Tokyo Motor Show is "Feel Fine," and Honda's motorcycle display theme is "Dream Wings."

The first of Honda's two visions of motorcycling's future is the E4-01 streamlined scooter, which, Honda says, "offers customers a new take on motorcycling lifestyles." Honda describes the second of the two bikes, the utilitarian NP6-D, as "created by the N Project, a team of imaginative young engineers at Honda R&D's Asaka R&D Center."

Two other concept bikes, the CBF1000ABS and Deauville ABS (a 650 V-twin sport-tourer), are also slated for display. In addition, the company will display some of its new production bikes and racers includuing the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CBR600RR Special, CB400 SUPER Bol d'Or, Gold Wing with airbag, Forza Z ABS scooter, NP6-S, Fusion SE scooter, RC211V, CBR1000RRW and CRF450R.
