Triumph Motorcycles Special Effects

Triumph has sold more than 35,000 examples of its bug-eyed Speed Triple streetfighter since 1995, making it one of the most successful models of the company's modern era. This winning combination of longevity and likeability is celebrated for 2010 with a special 15th Anniversary Edition, painted Phantom Black with red accents, hand-striped wheels, a color-matched flyscreen and belly pan. Special decals--including Triumph owner John Bloor's signature on the gas tank--and a gel seat further set the machine apart. Only 255 examples will be offered in America, priced at $12,299 (a $1K premium over the base model), each including a matching, marine-grade wristwatch.

The blacked-out Speed Triple isn't the only limited-edition offering from Triumph for 2010. At the other end of the color spectrum is a special-edition Daytona 675 dressed in Pearl White with Sparkle Blue frame, wheels and accents. Add $200 to the base 675's $9799 MSRP for one of the 350 available units. Lastly, splitting the black/white color difference down the middle will be 230 Matte Graphite Tiger ABS models, complete with color-matched saddlebags and hand guards, available for $12,999 (a $600 upcharge).
