THE THREADED INSERT FOR THE OIL FILTER RETAINING BOLT MAY NOT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND THE STRESS CAUSED BY TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE, PARTICULARLY IN THE EVENT THAT THE OIL FILTER BOLT HAS BEEN OVERTIGHTENED.
Consequence
Remedy
DEALER WILL INSTALL A DIFFERENT TYPE OIL FILTER BOLT OF INCREASED STRENGTH.

Summary
IF THE COUNTERSHAFT OIL SEAL IS SUBJECTED TO EXTREME OIL PRESSURE VARIATION, THE COUNTERSHAFT OIL SEAL MAY BE SPLIT, ALLOWING OIL TO LEAK. LEAKING OIL CAN COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE REAR TIRE, WHICH CAN RESULT IN TRACTION REDUCTION.

Remedy
COUNTERSHAFT OIL SEAL WILL BE REPLACED AND A MODIFIED "OIL PATH BODY" WILL BE INSTALLED TO REDUCE THE OIL PRESSURE AT THE COUNTERSHAFT OIL SEAL. REPAIRS WILL BE PERFORMED AT NO CHARGE TO OWNER.
