Millville, NJ - MotoAmerica has announced that Dunlop will continue as the exclusive tire supplier of the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Race Series with the companies agreeing on a new three-year contract. Dunlop has been the spec-tire of the AMA Superbike Series for eight consecutive years, including the first two seasons of the MotoAmerica Series.

Dunlop tires will be used in all five MotoAmerica classes: Superbike, Superstock 1000, Supersport, Superstock 600 and the KTM RC Cup.

Racers competing in the premiere MotoAmerica Superbike, Superstock 1000 and Supersport classes will use Dunlop's KR448 and KR451 racing slicks while the Superstock 600 racers will use Dunlop's GPA-Pro DOT tires built in Dunlop's factory in Buffalo, New York. The KTM RC 390 Cup machines will run on Dunlop's Alpha 13 SP.

"We are extremely happy to have Dunlop back for three more years as our spec tire," said three-time 500cc World Champion and MotoAmerica president Wayne Rainey. "Dunlop has gone above and beyond in helping our riders get faster in all our classes by working hard to produce tires that they can push to their limits. Tires are of the utmost importance to any racer and it's great that we can continue with Dunlop as we grow the MotoAmerica Series into what we hope is soon the preeminent national road racing series in the world."

"Dunlop has always been committed to racing, and we're very happy to extend our agreement with MotoAmerica to support road racing here in the U.S." said Mike Buckley, Dunlop Motorcycle's vice president of sales and marketing. "Racing plays a large role in the development of our tire technology that makes its way into our street products such as the Sportmax Q3, so it is an important part of our business. As the only company making motorcycle tires in America, it is a great fit for us to support the premier American road race series. The MotoAmerica group has done a fantastic job growing the sport here in the U.S., and we're proud to continue our relationship with them."
