Indian President Paul du Pont displays to Editor Chet Billings the motorcycle he engineered and constructed in 1903. It had a wick for a carburetor and ran on the gasoline smell, but it ran. Fact not generally known is that President du Pont has marked abilities as mechanical engineer. He not only knows what makes the new Indian run but sometimes takes off the coat and shows the boys how to put ‘em together. Picture was taken during recent visit of Editor Billings at the du Pont rancho.
