Scottsdale Entrepreneur Unveils “The Cycle Hitch”
Innovative Product Promises to Revolutionize How Bikes are Towed
Just in time for Arizona’s peak riding season when thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts will take to the open roads, Scottsdale entrepreneur Jeff Trenk has introduced The Cycle Hitch, a product designed to reduce the hassles of conventional towing. The Cycle Hitch will be officially unveiled at the Power Sports Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, February 12 through 15.
Manufactured by Vitron, a Phoenix-based aerospace engineering firm renowned for exceptional quality and high standards, The Cycle Hitch is engineered to fit with all brands and most models of motorcycles and is easily installed on any vehicle equipped with a receiver hitch; no need for a pick-up truck, trailer or help from a friend. One of the best features of the Cycle Hitch is that owners can load their bikes by themselves instantly by driving up a small ramp, shifting into neutral, hooking on the straps and removing the ramp when the bike is secured. This unique feature alone sets the Cycle Hitch apart from any other hitch in the market.
In addition to recreational riders, the Cycle Hitch is a must-have convenience for dealerships and service shops, and at $499 it’s far cheaper than a dedicated trailer.
Customer and motorcycle enthusiast Sean Bruckner was skeptical when he first heard about the product from a friend. “I couldn’t believe it could actually be put together in less than 5 minutes,” he said. “It’s an incredible convenience for anyone who has a bike."
According to Trenk, Vitron deserves credit for the product’s unique 99 year warranty and overall quality. “The same precision and leading edge technology that is used for the U.S. military is integrated into The Cycle Hitch."
The Cycle Hitch’s innovative design is portable, easy to disassemble and can be stored in a compact space like a trunk or a back seat. It weighs less than 50 lbs. and can accommodate most bikes, up to 1200 lbs.
The Cycle Hitch is available at Arizona Victory (Phoenix); Victory of Mesa (Mesa); Arizona Kawasaki Victory (Apache Junction); Sierra Cycles (Sierra Vista); and Arizona Victory (Tucson). It is also available for sale on-line. For more information, visit www.cyclehitch.com
