Three new Zs broke all sorts of records at Daytona in March of 1973. A Yoshimura-prepped Z ridden by Yvon DuHamel lapped the speedway at 160.199 mph. Two less-modified Z's set new 24-hour records as well, one covering 2631 miles for a 109.64-mph average.
