Spidi Neck DPS Airbag Vest
How could something like this not catch our eye? Spidi's DPS airbag vest is designed to slip comfortably over your leathers. A double-layer of protective structure in the collar can literally save your neck in a crash. There's even a handy rear zipper to accommodate the wind-cheating speed humps built into many roadracing suits. Straps secured with the usual hook-and-loop fasteners keep everything snug, even when you're deep into triple-digits. The whole system weighs just over a pound. Triggered by Kevlar wires designed to handle a 441-lb. pull, it inflates in .2 of a second when you part company with your bike, and can be easily removed and recharged.

Brembo T-Drive Rotors & Gpr-4x Calipers
Bergamo-based Brembo Racing was out in full force at Indy with an astonishing array of new products. Most impressive were the T-Drive rotors and GP4-RX calipers, both of which are already in use on the new Moto2 racebikes. The rotors use T-shaped pins (hence the name) to connect the disc to the carrier, providing more axial and radial float compared to conventional cylindrical bobbins. The new calipers are an evolution of Brembo's superb Monobloc design, and utilize 32 and 36mm pistons for optimum stopping power. We don't know how well they work, but we suspect very well, and they sure look pretty.

HJC RPS-10 Helmet
HJC's Indy booth was popping for two reasons. One was the presence of World Superbike Champion Ben "Elbowz" Spies, and the other was the new RPS-10 helmet. The lid's most salient features are its incredibly light weight (a claimed TKKK grams) and the ingenuity and quality of its central one-touch face shield latch and vent dials. Other amenities include a fiberglass shell that balances rigidity and elasticity, a Pinlock-equipped 2D flat racing shield, and a removable SilverCool Plus interior. Expect to see this Snell 2010-approved helmet on Ben's head in MotoGP and on your dealer's shelf sometime this fall.

Race Tech GS-3 Shock
The GS-3 is Race Tech's attempt to usurp a certain Swedish suspension company's latest shock, and based on its adjustability, technology and price, it might just succeed. Every GS-3 is made to order at Race Tech headquarters in Southern California, and uses Race Tech's latest 46mm Gold Valve for more consistent damping and better control. Expect to see one installed on one of our long-term testbikes in the near future.

Cobra Powerflo Intake & Exhaust
Getting more soulful bass notes and better low-end/midrange performance from your big-incher just got easier, thanks to the new PowerFlo intake and exhaust systems from Cobra. The Intake (shown) lets your engine inhale more efficiently and look good doing it thanks to its crafty internal-venturi design and an integrated K&N filter-so efficiently that Cobra recommends using one of its Fi2000R EFI tuners to make sure there's enough fuel to mix with all that air.

The mufflers use a slick, Tri-Oval design and big aluminum V-tips for a significant increase in curb appeal over standard exhaust plumbing. Choose chrome, black or black with chrome tips for various American and metric cruisers and tourers.

Teknic Xcelerator Gloves
Full-fledged roadracing gloves give you a sense of confidence, but the armor tends to bruise and pinch your hands, especially around the knuckles. Teknic took on the challenge of designing a full-featured race glove that's also comfortable to wear. The Xcelerator glove uses leather, Knox armor, carbon-fiber and a genuine Dupont Kevlar lining to offer top-notch protection, while a "seamless" finger/palm design (in kangaroo hide) and careful interior padding placement ensures total comfort.

Tour Master Centurion Suit
If you're a realistic, no-nonsense type in search of one suit to do pretty much everything, try Tour Master's Centurion. It does the work of a closetful of gear, but for a fraction of the price. The 600-denier Carbolex shell puts heavier 1680-denier panels over your shoulders, forearms and knees for extra abrasion resistance while CE-approved elbow, shoulder and knee armor adds vital impact protection. A collar-to-cuff main zipper makes getting in/out easy, and Carbolex accordion-stretch fabric at the back, waist and behind the knees lets you move around more freely on the bike. The list goes on, but the bottom line is that bottom line.

Joe Rocket Drytech Nano Jacket
Joe Rocket's Nano membrane is a technology that's sure to change the way you feel about wet-weather riding. While other brands put a cheap plastic liner on the inside of a jacket and call it waterproof, Joe Rocket bonds its proprietary Nano material directly to the back of the Drytech jacket's robust RockTex shell, so the jacket itself is waterproof. Numerous pockets and details like a plush fleece thermal liner make the Drytech an excellent all-season sport, touring and adventure jacket.

Kali Naza Helmet
New helmet brands are a dime a dozen these days, and they all make their debut at Indy. Kali Protectives caught our attention with its Naza street lid featuring its innovative Composite Fusion liner. Rather than molding the EPS liner separately and gluing it in place, Kali blows the EPS beads (with different densities depending on the location) directly into the helmet cavity, bonding it to the carbon-composite shell for a more efficient and controlled transfer of energy and lighter weight (a claimed 1350 grams). Moreover these competitively priced helmets come with an anti-fog face shield, anti-microbial removable liner, ECE certification and a five-year warranty.

AGV MT-X Off-Road Helmet
AGV is now owned by Dainese, and the most interesting item the Italian company had on display at Indy was its new off-road helmet. Airflow is of paramount importance when you're sweating in the dirt, and the MT-X's thermoplastic-resin shell features no fewer than five front vents plus two lateral intakes and two rear extractors. The anti-microbial lining is removable and washable, and the crown and cheek pads can be swapped out for a custom fit. But most impressive is its light weight: a claimed 1540 grams. DOT and ECE-approved, it comes in sizes S-XXXL in black, white or, for $40 more, multi-color hues.

Aritronix Rlink
You've got a Facebook page; how about your motorcycle? Aritronix, manufacturer of Scorpio motorcycle alarms, introduced its new rLiNK technology at Indy, and the way it simplifies the motorcycling experience is almost too complicated to describe! rLiNK incorporates advanced theft prevention, GPS tracking, SMS and E-mail alerts with programs that allow enthusiasts to share their experiences on social-networking sites like Facebook and Twitter through computer, smartphone or rLiNK's free iPhone application. Plan trips, get traffic and weather alerts, let the ones you love keep tabs on where you are in real time or get instant help in case of an accident, automatically. In addition to the price of the unit itself, a yearly data plan costs $120.

Mac's Ultimate Bike Pack
Anyone who's ever set up a trailer or van to haul motorcycles knows what a hassle it is to source all the various components. Mac's makes that a no-brainer with its Ultimate Bike Pack, which includes everything you need to safely transport your bike: one wheel chock, two pairs of tie-downs, four 6-foot lengths of track, plus various bands, sleeves, straps and all necessary hardware. If you haul two bikes, the Twin Pack doubles the hardware but keeps the center track, saving you almost $100.
