Like so many other California-based motorcycle enthusiasts, the Motorcyclist staff zipped down to the Long Beach Convention Center on the first weekend in December to take in Advanstar's annual International Motorcycle Show, the traditional stateside kick-off of the new model season. In addition to a bunch of new-for-2010 models making their North American debut-including the Ducati Multistrada 1200 and the BMW S 1000 RR-the IMS event also revealed a host of cool customs, and offered the opportunity to bump elbows with some of the biggest names in the motorcycle industry.
