Pasadena High School photography teacher gives students real-world experience with a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675
Any motorcycle enthusiast who has ever had a garage sale knows the scenario: Nearly everyone who spies the bike (or bikes) in your garage has something to say about it (or them). Usually it's an appreciative "I used to ride one of those," but sometimes it's an astonished "You ride one of those?!" It's a good way to tell which of your neighbors will give you the thumbs-up as you wheelie past versus the ones who might call the cops.
And once in a while, you meet a neighbor who's genuinely worth meeting, as was the case when Executive Editor Brian Catterson did a little spring cleaning this past April. Michael Kluch, a Photography/Adobe Photoshop instructor at Pasadena High School, spied the Triumph Daytona 675 in the garage and asked Brian if he might borrow it for a class project. Last year his class had photographed a custom Harley, so he thought it would be nice to shoot a sportbike this time. Brian said yes, with one caveat: He couldn't leave the keys with the bike!
