Island Man Part One
The TT course starts and ends on Glencrutchery Road, in Douglas--the busiest road on the Island. Fans in the grandstand see each racer only every 20 minutes. They follow the action by listening to the Manx radio commentary over the loudspeakers, while Boy Scouts post each lap time on a sprawling, ramshackle plywood scoreboard. This map helps everyone keep track.
