2010 Triumph Speed Review

The Triumph Speed has many monikers to its credit. It is referred to as a ""great weekend bike"" and a ""real hooligan’s machine."" The 2010 Triumph Speed motorcycles made by the Hinckley-based British company have constantly reinvented these motorcycles and they have brought out some unique models. The Speed Triple is its first naked urban sports model and is definitely a benchmark for the industry.

The Triumph Speed’s features include a 1050cc, Horizontal, 128-bhp, fuel injected engine with a six-speed transmission. It has dual hydraulic disc brakes that really help the motorcycle stop on demand. On the road, the three-cylinder engine is a great performer with 76 lb-ft of torque delivered at 7550rpm. The engine is distinctly docked well in between the aluminum frame and tubular bars. It has a real low-end torque which helps maintain speed in mid-range as well as in the top end.

The Triumph 2010 model range has also released a limited edition Speed Triple model to commemorate the 15 years since the Hinckley-based British automotive company introduced the ""Streetfighter"" style to the market, along with the original Speed Triple which dates back to the mid-1990s. This limited edition series is technically almost similar to its older standard version that was already in the market. This edition sports a Phantom Black metallic paint, with hand-finished red pinstriped wheels and ""15th Anniversary Special Edition"" decals on the flyscreen and tail. But one of its standalone features would be its refined engineering and exceptional looks.
