The 2012 Husqvarna TC is built for the weekend warrior rider more than it is for the advanced intermediate. There are two versions of the Husqvarna TC, the TC i250 which was created in Italy and became popular in the overseas markets because of its improved displacement and lighter weight than comparable motorcycles. The 2012 Husqvarna TC 449 is more popular in the U.S. with a dual mode switch allowing access to two different fuel injection and ignition timing maps, as well as several other modifications designed to improve performance during motocross riding.

Both the TC i250 and the 449 come with an off-road body style and no lights. As a result, these are not street-legal bikes.
