2004 Honda CBR Review

Intro

The MSRP for the Honda CBR 600 F4i is around $8,200, the Honda CBR 600RR is around $8,600 and the 1000RR MSRP is closer to $11,000. The 2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i features a one piece seat while the 600RR and 1000RR models feature a two piece seat. All of the seats are made of vinyl and meant to accommodate two people. Riders praise the handling capabilities of the CBR 600 F4i but also warn that this makes it easy for novice riders to overextend themselves and get in over their heads at high speeds.

The bike has exceptional balance and comes equipped with foot pegs for the driver and passenger as well. This is an ideal choice for a fun starter bike because its handle, requires low maintenance and has good brakes as well. The CBR 600 F4i has a smooth ride that makes it easier to accelerate up to high speeds without realizing it. The performance, handling and design are some of the most impressive things about Honda’s CBR 1000RR sport bike. For most riders, the 1000RR is comfortable, has a responsive throttle and is just as easy to handle as the CBR 600RR.

Many riders love the cornering ability of the 1000RR and feel it’s one of the best sport bikes to own. Many riders love the suspension and handling adjustability, making this is a great bike to take on the track. Riders typically feel that the 600RR absorbs bumps on the road just as well as any sport bike currently on the market. The CBR 600RR gets around 45 mpg on average for many riders. Some complain that riding on the 600RR for more than a few hours at a time can result in back and rest pain at times. There are several people that still use these sport bikes as a daily rider, underscoring the durability and reliability of Honda’s 2004 CBR series.
