The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) invites you to join ABC7 Eyewitness News on Friday, 11 to noon, at the Spark of Love Toy Drive at the Honda Center in Anaheim - or contribute any way you can.
WHAT:
This campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for the underserved children in Southern California. Last year alone, the Spark of Love collected more than 500,000 toys and we want to help top that total this year.
HOW:
Bring a new, unwrapped toy or piece of sports equipment, or something to offer to motorcycle riders who ride over and give a toy. Or send us what you can before Friday.
WHERE:
We'll be parked as close as we can to the OCTA buses they are stuffing with toys, and the blue ABC7 news van. Look for the large, white Sprinter van with MIC banners and a motorcycle or two, and visit with us and make your donation.
TV COVERAGE:
Last Friday, we secured two TV spots on ABC7 on the day of the Long Beach Motorcycle Show. Many thousands saw us on TV, and one hundred people came by, donated a toy and received a free ticket to the show. Great promotion for the show and motorcycling throughout Southern California.
