2013 Victory High-Ball Base


Released just last year, the 2013 Victory High-Ball is a bobber-spirited, high-performance cruiser for the masses. The Victory High-Ball keeps up the family tradition with its stylish, aggressive body design. Available in black with graphics, it certainly isn’t meant to hide in the shadows and the High-Ball is sure to get a great deal of attention from other bike enthusiasts, as well as the average motorist. Built on the same platform as the popular Victory Vegas, this cruising bike still manages to have plenty of unique features. The shorty front fender gives it a distinctive appearance as does the old school white-walled tires. The front tire especially is rather large and adds to the overall aggressive look of the High-Ball in addition to providing outstanding grip on the asphalt. The rear tire isn’t nearly as large, but is more than enough support in the back. Both wheels feature stainless steel spokes and black hubs and rims.

Victory chose to outfit its new High-Ball with the company’s traditional adjustable apehanger handlebars. This feature allows the rider to determine the height of the handlebars for maximum control and comfort. Whether you like the apehangers high or low, Victory also made is easy to adjust them with the use of common tools. You can easily adjust them as desired for the perfect fit on the perfect ride. The handlebars are black to fit the rest of the body design and color. While it’s cool to have a good looking bike, what’s going on in the engine and transmission are pretty important too. The 2013 Victory High-Ball is up to the challenge when it comes to performance as well. It is equipped with a full-injected, 106 degree, Freedom V-Twin. This engine, which is capable of giving up 97 hp and 113 lb-ft of torque, has made Victory one of the most popular motorcycle manufacturers out there in recent history. The belt drive and six-speed transmission are very good at their job of feeding power to the rear wheel for impressive acceleration and smooth shifting between the gears. While the focus is certainly on speed and performance, it should be noted that the High-Ball is equipped with extraordinary set of brakes. Located on the left side of the bike, the brakes are prone to occasional rear wheel lock up with no anti-lock brake option available. It really isn’t a problem for the rider that pays attention and avoids unnecessary roughness when applying them. For the most part, the quick response and powerful braking capabilities provide peace of mind on the road. The 2013 Victory High-Ball has it all from intimidating good looks, to excellent handling and performance. It's definitely worth considering.
