2013 Husqvarna TE 310R

The 2013 Husqvarna TE is able to be ridden off road on rugged dirt roads on mountain sides, in between trees and forage of forested areas as well as on the streets and roads of the city thanks to the license plate. This dual sport bike has been given premium Kayaba shocks that offer stiffer suspension settings on both shocks and the front Kayaba inverted fork. A new Leo Vince exhaust system that improves air flow, which increases power as well, is combined with a compact, lightweight 302cc four-stroke motor with dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) and four titanium valves. Even though the 2013 Husqvarna TE has a displacement of only 302 cc, which is significantly smaller than the average for dual sport motorcycles, the bike is only 247 pounds which is approximately 37.5 percent lighter than other similar bikes. This translates to a premium dual sport motorcycle that has the power and agility to get around obstacles and have fun at the same time.

The new 2013 Husqvarna TE has a claimed boost in power courtesy of a revised velocity stack and new exhaust. They also get a new ECU map for more aggressive power and the suspension has been redesigned, including USA-developed settings for the 48mm Kayaba fork. The radiator has been reinforced to increase the durability and strength of its shell to prevent any disabling damage that can arise from hits and bumps from rocks, stumps and other debris encountered during off-road riding.

Riders who need to transition from off-road conditions to city streets and roads during the same ride should consider the dual-sport line-up offered by Husqvarna. The TE gets the same velocity stack and exhaust upgrades as the TXC models and the Red Head arrangement. The 350R joins its larger siblings, the TE440 and TE511, with more compact handlebar switches, redesigned fuel catch canister and DOT tires that are said to provide better off-road traction.
