2013 Honda Interstate ABS

The 2013 Honda Interstate touring bike is a blend of styles, making it quite the eye catching ride. It is part chopper yet part pro-street custom while flashing a retro cruiser attitude. It is designed to spend hours on the road with its long distance features such as rider floorboards, hard leather saddle bags and a custom windscreen.

The 2013 Interstate sports a 1312cc 52-degree V-Twin engine which delivers a roaring 74 horse power. Complementing this powerful, dominant engine is a liquid cooling system, PGM-FI fuel injection system with automatic enrichment circuit, compression ratio of 9.2:1, and a five-speed transmission with shaft final drive. The five-speed, shaft drive transmission not only helps deliver all the power the engine has to offer but it is also a very low maintenance and reliable part of the bike. This should be a nice added peace of mind when riding during a long trip. All of these components of this bike work collectively to give the rider all the power and torque needed for city and long distance riding.

To battle the woes of bumpy roads, the 2013 interstate sports a 1.6 inch diameter telescopic front fork with 4inches of travel and a rear twin sided swing arm with 3.9 inches of travel. This gives ample amount of cushion in the suspension to combat what roads may throw at a rider while enduring long distance riding. In addition to this forgiving suspension, the 2013 Interstate has several other superficial parts to it that make riding the bike something you may not want to end. The interstate sports large, hard leather bags for plentiful storage capacity, a custom full-size windscreen to help protect the face from potential hazards on the road, rider floorboards and a heel-toe shifter to give maximum comfort and minimal strain on the legs.
