2012 Yamaha TT-R 125LE

Intro

The 2012 Yamaha TT-R range of off-road bikes provides a model for every member of the family, no matter how big or how small. The Yamaha TT-R50E is the smallest bike in the range and is a perfect starter bike for kids who want to learn to ride. After mastering the mini-off road bike, the next logical step is the TT-R110E, which provides additional power for pure off road fun. The TT-R125LE is a great choice for older kids, as well as adults before getting onto the TT-R230, which is a serious trail bike that is accessible for a wide range of riders.

The 2012 Yamaha TT-R50E model is the optimum bike for learning to ride, as well as mastering off-road skills. An electric push-button starter and three-speed automatic clutch transmission mean that new riders can enjoy the ride as soon as they get on the bike. Focus can be placed on learning to balance the bike and move with speed without having to worry about the additional confusion of shifting, or getting the bike going. With a seat height of only 21.8 inches, even some of the smallest riders can gain confidence by being able to place both feet firmly on the ground.

Stepping up to the 2012 Yamaha TT-R110E means an increase in power to 110cc from the 49cc of the TT-R50E. An electric starter and four-speed automatic transmission make this a fun bike to ride for people of all ages. With a seat height of 26.4 inches, most older kids will be able to ride, but the low seat height doesn’t limit where the bike can go. A ground clearance of 7.1 inches coupled with the forked front suspension and monocross rear suspension mean that the bike can clear most types of terrain.

The 2012 Yamaha TT-R125LE is equipped with a 124cc four-stroke engine and a five-speed transmission that provide plenty of power and torque for optimal off-road performance. Handling of the off-road bike is excellent due to the adjustable suspension that has been designed for the more aggressive riders. A push button start makes the bike accessible, as does the low seat height of 32 inches.

The largest model in the range is the 2012 Yamaha TT-R230. This is a serious trail bike that has a ground clearance of 11.6 inches so that any and all terrains can be travelled over. The 223cc air-cooled, four-stroke engine provides plenty of power and torque, making it a good choice for intermediate riders. The steel frame provides great strength and handling, and the flat seat and tank give optimum rider mobility.
