The 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre is a cruiser-style motorcycle that has been carried over from the 2011 model and remains unchanged for the launch of the new model year. This version of the Hotrod Sceptre was initially introduced for the 2010 model year, and according to the company, it was designed with the spirit of the outlaw rider in mind.
Although the 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre has an old school look, it has been fully equipped with up-to-date technology and components. It is powered by a 1573cc, air-cooled, V-twin engine coupled with a right side drive six-speed manual transmission. The telescopic front fork suspension and the twin sided swing arm rear suspension provide for excellent handling and agility on the road.
The low profile of the 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre gives it an aggressive look. The width of the front and rear tires adds to the meaty overall design of the cruiser. Both low profile handlebars, as well as ape hangers bars can be fitted depending on the preferred seating position of the rider. The 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre comes equipped with a single seat only; although a pillion pad or 2-up seat can be added for those riders wishing to carry a passenger.
Polished 80-spoke billet wheels are standard on all 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre cruiser bikes, but upgrade packages can be chosen that will change the look of the wheels as well as accents across the bike. Saxon Motorcycles also offers several different wheel variations that allow for customization of each model. There are four levels of paint that can be chosen for each 2012 Saxon Motorcycle Hotrod Sceptre, including one that is completely customizable. Graphics can also be added to provide individualization of each cruiser.
