The design of the Spyder is also one of a kind with the open air concept to the fact that the motorcycle is a three wheel sporty machine that is one of the most visually appealing bikes on the road. The cutting edge design of the bike is backed with optimal performance and handling. Although this bike may look like something out of the future, rest assured that no matter where you choose to roam the 2012 Can Am Spyder will take you there.

The heart of this unique looking roadster is a Rotax 998cc V-twin engine that delivers tremendous power and provides great torque at all speeds. When it comes to the transmission there are 2 options that one can choose. The first being the standard five speed clutch which has been known to shift with ease. Alternatively, there is also a five speed electronic clutch which is controlled by the rider's left hand and there is no need to manually shift. Whichever transmission you choose, you can be sure that your bike will handle with precision. Both styles of transmission come standard with reverse as well.

The innovative roadster features two forward wheels in the front and single tire in the back that features mono shock for optimal rear end handling. The 2012 Can- Am Spyder comes standard with the Vehicle Stability System (VSS). This cutting edge technology was developed in partnership with Bosch and offers precise handling and confidence that no matter what you encounter on the road the 2012 Can- Am Spyder will handle like a champ.
