2011 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe

Intro

The 2011 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe is a touring bike heavy on exquisite, classic styling and a ton of power. The design features a large, weather-resistant fairing and a short windscreen. The seat is sculpted with a long swoop and provides plenty of comfort. The bike's chrome finish gives the Stratoliner plenty of sophistication, and the simple, retro look of the instrumentation keeps the Stratoliner classic. The headlight is a multi-reflector, and the taillight is LED. Turn signals are amber to match the classic look. If this bagger doesn't impress, nothing will. The 12-spoke wheels are extremely attractive both in action and at a standstill.

The 2011 Yamaha Stratoliner features a 1854-cc, air-cooled, long-stroke engine. The low engine height allows for a lower center of gravity and somewhat uniform heat dissipation. Throttle response is amazingly powerful with the Mikuni, twin-bore, downdraft, throttle body fuel injection. The electronic control unit keeps power stable regardless of the usage. The chassis is constructed of aluminum produced for lower body weight and offers balance. Wheels are 18 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear. The brake and clutch levers are extra wide and for easy usage and quality look and feel. The Stratoliner produces 91 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque, which gives a huge push from a standstill and keeps the Stratoliner cruising easily along, even while passing other motorists.

The Stratoliner features iPod integration, handlebar mounted audio controls, and self-cancelling turn signals. Also included are stylish 3D speed lines on the fuel tank. There is a fork lock integrated into the ignition switch, and numerous blacked out components. Handling is incredible with the low aluminum frame, low center of gravity, and the rigid chassis design. The weight of the Stratoliner Deluxe is not for small riders. The riding position is upright and very comfortable. Overall, the Stratoliner is ideal for road use, even for extremely long trips. The power engine, decent fuel economy, and high-quality build keep it safe throughout even rougher trips.
