2011 Victory Vegas 8-Ball

Intro

The Victory Vegas was introduced in 2003 and has since garnered favorable reviews for its styling and superior performance. The most affordable way to join the Victory clan, the 2011 Victory Vegas is a chopper-themed cruiser that is remarkably easy to ride because of its relatively thin and light built. The handlebar does not require the rider to stretch their arms too much and the seat height is only a little above 25 inches. Because of its incredible custom-built look, most people would find it hard to believe that the Victory Vegas is in fact a mass-produced motorcycle, unless they are Victory fans themselves.

The 2011 Victory Vegas has large front discs and four-piston Nissin calipers, while the Vegas is one of only two models that have a single front disc. The Vegas also has a two-piston caliper and rear rotor. The new Victory Vegas is also equipped with extremely convenient self-canceling turn signals. They help avoid dangerous situations when riders may have an unintended blinking indicator which only confuses other drivers and riders.

The larger, 106-cubic inch, V-twin engine and the new six-speed transmission add value to the 2011 Victory Vegas. According to the company, gear whine and driveline lash have been significantly diminished with the help of helical-cut gears and an improved shaft design. The Victory Vegas also receives an improved gauge panel, which includes an analog speedometer and an LCD screen that displays gear position, tachometer, clock and other diagnostic information.

New For 2011
  • All 2011 models of the Victory motorcycle are now equipped with a 1731-cc, V-Twin engine called Freedom 106, which has a larger displacement than previous models, and produces 113 lb-ft of torque. This is one of the best cruiser engines in the market today.
  • Transmission: All Victory motorcycles have received an upgrade to their powertrain. With almost 40% of the drivetrain reworked, the new transmission has enhanced performance and reliability. A completely revamped, six-speed transmission allows smoother shifting and comes with something called Neutral Assist which makes hitting neutral easier when approaching a stop. The transmission is covered by a 100,000 mile warranty.
  • The 2011 Victory Vegas model has new handlebars that extend two inches more to the back compared to the 2010 model.
  • This year receives new instruments. An analog speedometer and a backlit LCD panel that includes a gear-position indicator, a clock, and numeric tachometer.
  • Warning lights are now located in the gauge pack instead of the triple clamp.
  • New gear-position indicator that uses a calculation to determine which gear has been selected.
  • New 48-amp charging system across all models, with increased output at low revs.
  • New side stands that are less bulky but easier to access.
