Intro

The 2011 Triumph Thruxton is a sporty, classic motorcycle that got its inspiration from the Bonneville-based café racer-style bikes popular in the 1960s. Launched in 2004, it got its name from the famous Hampshire racetrack in Great Britain – a place Triumph had a great deal of success.

An air-cooled, 865-cc, twin cylinder engine that churns out 68-horsepower at 7400 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 51 lb-ft of torque at 5800 rpm powers the 2011 Triumph Thruxton, which is an incredible improvement from the Bonneville. Although it won’t win any races, it is fun to ride. Thanks to 1.7-inch forks teamed with chromed twin shock absorbers, both adjustable for preload, ride and handling is composed and pleasant.

As expected from Triumph’s flagship model of their classic line, the Thruxton has a nifty, eye-catching design. It is available in two premium color options: phantom black with a classic gold stripe and diablo red with a white race stripe. Its minimalist lines flow over its body to help create an appealing style.

  • A Triumph Motorcycle Alarm is equipped with an alarm connector block as part of the wiring harness, which allows the alarm system to be installed correctly. They are designed specifically for each model.
  • 21-inch front wheel conversion kit was developed by British Customs. The larger wheel improves ride quality by rolling over bumps and other road imperfections with ease. The kit includes a 21-inch chrome wheel and stainless steel spokes and nipples.
  • An Engine Management System that is made up of several programs, allowing the fuel map and ignition map to be modified, the rev limit, idle speed, and thermo fan settings to be changed, and faults to be diagnosed.
  • A basic performance package, sold by British Customs, combining an air infection removal kit, air box removal kit, predator exhaust, countershaft sprocket, and jet kit to provide the most power at the best possible price.
