2011 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP

Intro

The Ducati Hypermotard line was introduced with the intent of providing a powerful machine that provides the speed and thrill a rider seeks. The 2011 Ducati Hypermotard is available as an 1100 EVO, an 1100 EVO SP or as a 796. All three models are dual sport bikes that meet high expectations in the motorcycle world.

The 2011 Ducati Hypermotard 796 has a slightly larger engine than an average dual sport, with 803-cc displacement. The 796 also has a slightly lower power output than average. The 1100 EVO SP and the 1100 EVO each have a higher price tag and a significantly larger displacement than typical dual sports, with 1078-cc. Peak power output is also less than average and the overall weight is lighter than average for a dual sport. 2010 was a significant remodel year for the Hypermotard. Highlights of the makeover include a new cylinder head, intake ports that have been improved, a resulting increase in compression ratio, and more power and less weight overall.

The 2011 Ducati Hypermotard is an exhilarating sports bike from the renowned Italian manufacturer. While its entry price is on the high end, the Ducati ride experience is often considered second to none in the motorcycling world.
