Intro

The incredibly stylish and macho Yamaha Road Star was first introduced in the United States market in 2004. Also known as the Yamaha Road Star Silverado, this powerful touring bike that boasted loads of impressive features has gone on to become a classic. The 2010 Yamaha Road Star is truly a sight to behold with its advanced 1670cc air-cooled, pushrod, fuel injected V-twin and low chassis. The 2010 Yamaha Road Star promises its rider great handling, comfort, and superior performance. Its unique chrome accents, medium-size adjustable windshield, leather side bags, touring saddle and passenger seat with backrest, and floorboards give all the competition a run for their money.

Equipped with a 102-cubic inch powerhouse in the frame the 2010 Yamaha Road Star Silverado ensures that the rider enjoys all the power that this bike has to offer. The fuel-injected V-twin comes with five-speed wide-ratio transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch and a belt final drive. The hour-valves per cylinder offer high breathing efficiently and the two spark plugs provide optimum power output. The computer-controlled fuel injection feeds the cylinders and adjusts and monitors air/fuel ratio automatically. Superior air cooling keeps the 2010 Yamaha Road Star Silverado cool a and the high-capacity air intake system with a paper type air filter allows for superior performance.

The 2010 Yamaha Road Star features a solid-mounted engine housed in a custom designed gusset-less, double-cradle frame fitted with a snazzy 32-degree rake. The 66.3 inch wheelbase along with other design elements provides a retro profile, stable handling, and great rider comfort. The Telescopic 43mm front forks feature stainless steel covers with 5.5 inches of travel, and the link-type, hidden, preload-adjustable rear shock provides 4.3 inches of travel.

The 2010 Yamaha Road Star offers a fuel capacity of 4.74 gallons and provides an estimated 36 mpg. This spectacular 2010 touring bike is available in pearl white.
