2010 Yamaha FJR 1300A

Intro

The ultra-stylish and macho sports touring bike made its grand entrance in the U.S. market in 2002. Also known as the FJR1300A, the bike won many hearts and awards. The 2010 Yamaha FJR1300A sports a traditional design, amazing ergonomics, incredible stopping power, a lightweight aluminum frame, a fancy weather-beating fairing, and the safety and security of the advanced ABS. For those power hungry riders whose top priorities are performance and handling, the 2010 Yamaha FJR1300A has been designed with you in mind.

The 2010 Yamaha FJR’s engine is a compact, lightweight, 1298-cc, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled, transverse-mounted, inline-four engine with four valves per cylinder. Equipped with a curved radiator with custom ducting and twin-ring cooling fans, the engine and cockpit are always kept cool. The lightweight forged pistons with carburized connecting rods ensure optimum strength and help minimize reciprocating mass for outstanding high-rpm durability and performance. A low-vibration crankshaft with two gear-driven secondary counter-balancers provides a smooth and relaxing ride for both the rider and passenger. Synchronized movement of the throttle, clutch, and shifter provides a great riding experience. The four-into-one-into-two stainless-steel exhaust increases the engine performance across the power band.

One of the best features of the 2010 Yamaha FJR is the adjustable seat which allows you to move the seat up or down and the handlebar pullback. The long swing arm offers unbelievable handling. The stylishly designed instrument panel features an electronic analog speedometer and tachometer; LCD digital odometer; coolant and air temperature gauges; gear position indicator; dual trip meters; lights for neutral, high beam, turn signals, low oil, and engine warnings; real-time mileage; average mileage; and air temperature. Riders get to enjoy improved wind protection with minimum negative pressure. The 2010 Yamaha FJR1300A boasts gleaming cat-eye dual 12V 60/55-watt multi-reflector headlights which offer extremely broad beams for sharp visibility. The mirrors are easy to adjust and retract horizontally.

This magnificent sport touring bike is available in stunning and mesmerizing liquid silver. The FJR1300A has a fuel capacity of 6.6 gallons and offers an estimated fuel economy of 39 mpg.
