The Saxon Whip is humorously listed as a cruiser in more than one publication; however, this modern day take on the classic chopper is anything but. From its hardtail rear suspension to the wasp frame and tank, this ride screams Chopper!
The classic chopper look is where this 106-inch bike ends with its retro theme. The electric start, polished or black S&S engine is available in several combinations–96 ci, 100 ci (California model), and 110 ci, all built with plenty of oomph to get you there. Carburetion is provided by the S&S Super E. The six-speed transmission with chain primary and final drives finish off the power plant. Stopping power is impressive with Brembo dual piston front brakes and single piston rears.
The sky's the limit on your final ""look""; Saxon offers plenty of color schemes or you can go full-on custom. The leather seat is a double seat, although it is optimistic to consider the rear a two-up. The slightly pull-backed handlebars follow the front fork line to perfection. The wheels also arrive with a variety of styles; from the 80 spoke, in either chrome or black, to your choice of polished Billet alloys. Instrumentation includes a digital tachometer and speedometer only.
American-built and sold worldwide, this is not the bike you take off on for a cross-country trip. It’s the one you put up with your friend’s ribbing, trailer, park at the campground, and ride into Sturgis on. This bike is so cool, it actually looks good on the trailer. Sadly.
