Intro

The 2008 QLINK Star 50 is a small city scooter that is designed to be fuel efficient, convenient and easy to ride. It uses a small single-cylinder, two-stroke, 50cc engine that produces approximately 2.7 horsepower and 4.8 lb-ft of torque. It is not designed for high speeds however it does have enough power to get around town and let you run errands or get to and from work. Its engine uses a reed valve configuration and is air cooled to keep engine temperatures low. It also comes standard with an electric starter as well as a kick star option. Its transmission is a continuously variable design that automatically shifts, ridding the hassle of the clutch.

It rides on 120/70-17 tires in both the front and rear. Its suspension uses a telescopic fork in the front and a single sided swing arm with a single shock absorber in the rear for ideal comfort and cushion while riding city streets. It braking system is comprised of a hydraulic caliper with a single disc in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Both the front and rear braking system provides all the necessary braking power needed to stop this small 170 pound scooter.

This scooter is a single seated ride so even though you can’t take a passenger along, it does provide the rider with all the necessary options and comfort for light city riding.
