2007 MV Agusta F4

2007 MV Agusta F4 1000R

If there were beauty pageants for motorcycles, riders would undoubtedly crown the MV Agusta F4 queen. This sleek motorcycle is considered to be the most beautiful motorcycle in the world, with some riders equating it to a work of art. If you think you see one on the road, better not blink, or you’ll miss it as it whizzes by at 186 mph. In 2006, the F4 1000 R set a speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats for the fastest production motorcycle in the 1000 cc class, clocking in at just under 186 mph. MV Agusta introduced the F4 in 1998, following its design by Massimo Tamburini who also designed the Ducati 916 This superbike sizzles, whether it is parked on a lot, racing down the highway, or whipping around the track. The F4 has a unique four-pipe under tail exhaust system as well as an engine that has a Hemi-head with four valves per cylinder for maximum air volume. MV Agusta introduced the F4 1000 R and the F4 CC, named after MV Agusta’s chief, Claudio Castiglioni, in 2006. Also released in 2006 was the Senna, a special edition of the F4 1000 R, that will set buyers back really big bucks as only 100 of these motorcycles were made.

MV Agusta packages the F4’s chromium-molybdenum frame in a thermoplastic body. It has the only chromium-molybdenum frame in the four-cylinder production class. This sport bike comes with standard instrumentation, including a fuel level warning light, lap timer, temperature warning light, speedometer, tachometer and odometer. The 1 + 1 version has pillion seating for the passenger. MV Agusta is still making the F4. The Italian manufacture describes the 2013 model as ""the epitome of emotion, performance, and speed clothed in a uniquely desirable design.""
