Intro

Consumers buy sport bikes for the speed, maneuverability, performance, and overall experience. This Japanese-made sport motorcycle capitalizes on aerodynamic design and technology to make the entry-level GS 500F model inviting and competitive in the sport bike market. Although the GS 500F is billed as a starter bike, Suzuki has not spared enticing and hooking experienced as well as novice riders with the aerodynamic look and performance, quick acceleration, comfort (padded seat), and smoother suspension. The larger capacity fuel tank allows longer distance rides.

The 2006 Suzuki GS 500F features a steel frame and plastic body construction. This 2006 sport model comes standard with a four-stroke, two-cylinder, air-cooled parallel twin engine and a six-speed manual transmission. The engine displacement to weight is 1.23 cc with maximum torque of 29.5 lb-ft (40.0 Nm) at 7400 RPM. The GS 500 model engine generates 47 hp (34.3 kW) at 9200 RPM and goes with a flip of its CDI electric ignition.
