Suzuki made four engines available for the 2006 Boulevard cruiser lineup; most of the models feature liquid-cooled engines.

The 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S40 is around 7.1 feet long, 28.3 inches wide, 43 inches tall, and has 5.3 inches of ground clearance. The 2006 Suzuki Boulevard M109R is 8.07 feet long, 37 inches wide, 46 inches high, and has the same 5.3 inches of ground clearance. Both of these models feature one-piece seats made of leather that are designed to hold two people. Both cruiser motorbikes also feature standard grab rails and foot pegs for the driver and passenger as well.

The 2006 Boulevard features a standard speedometer while the M109R has a full array of digital instrumentation along with a fuel level warning gauge, a temperature warning light, a standard clock, speedometer, trip odometer, and tachometer. Many novice riders think the 2006 Boulevard M109R is a great starter bike due to its responsive acceleration, aggressive styling, and powerful engine. Many riders are impressed with the combination of high-quality comfort and engine performance that the 2006 Suzuki M109 cruiser provides.

Many riders praise the 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S40 for its reliability and fuel economy. These riders also think the 2006 Boulevard S40 is fun to ride and has an appealing design as well.
