The Vulcan 1600 series cruiser motorbikes were first introduced by Kawasaki in 2002. The series consists of the Vulcan 1600 Classic, the Vulcan 1600 Nomad, and the Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak. All of the Vulcan 1600 motorbikes have five-speed manual transmissions and are powered by engines that have four valves per cylinder and are engine cooled.
The 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic is around 8.2 feet long, 40.9 inches wide, 44.5 inches high, and has 5.1 inches of ground clearance. The 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak measures 7.9 feet long, 33.5 inches wide, 43.3 inches high, and has 4.9 inches of ground clearance. All of the Vulcan 1600 series motorbikes are designed to seat two people. The 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic comes equipped with a detachable passenger seat. The 2006 Vulcan 1600 Nomad comes equipped with a detachable backrest for the passenger.
The 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic comes equipped with a floor board for the driver and foot pegs for the passenger as well. The 2006 Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak comes equipped with foot pegs for the driver and the passenger. The 2006 Vulcan Nomad has floor boards for both the driver and the passenger. All of the Vulcan 1600 cruisers have frames that are made from steel and come with standard grab rails.
The dash of the 2006 Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak comes with a temperature warning light in addition to the tachometer, speedometer, clock, digital instrumentation, and fuel level warning gauge, which come standard on each of the Vulcan 1600 cruisers. The 2006 Vulcan 1600 Nomad also comes with vinyl cases on both side of the bike along with lockable storage, standard bag liners, and side storage mounts as well. The 2006 Kawasaki 1600 Nomad is also equipped with adjustable handlebars and adjustable levers.
