Intro

The BMW 2005 K series consist of a lineup of high-performance sport, sport-touring, and standard motorbikes. The K 1200 R is the standard motorbike in the series, the K 1200 S and K 1200 RS are sport motorbikes, and the K 1200 GT and the K 1200 LT are sport touring motorbikes. The price range for these BMW motorbikes is from around $14,300 for the 2005 K 1200 R standard model up to around $19,950 for the K 1200 LT sport-touring model. The engines for these motorbikes are liquid-cooled and have four valves per cylinder.

The 2005 BMW K 1200 RS and the K 1200 GT both have engines that produce around 130 horsepower (hp) at 8,750 RPM and 85 pound-feet (lb-ft) of torque at 6,750 RPM.
