BMW unveiled around 20 different types of motorbikes for the 2004 R lineup. There are enough motorbikes in the 2004 R lineup to satisfy any type of novice or experienced rider. These bikes also come equipped with a full array of digital instrumentation, a speedometer, a tachometer, a trip odometer, a clock, fuel warning gauge and temperature warning light on the dashboard.
The BMW R 850 R has a smallest engine in the 2004 R lineup consisting of naked bikes, sport bikes, sport-touring bikes, touring motorbikes, cruisers and on-off road bikes. The 2004 BMW R 850 R produces about 70 horsepower at 7,000 RPM and 56.8 pound-feet of torque at 5,500 RPM. The top speed for the 2004 850 R is around 116 miles per hour.
